Overview



	The Florida Department of Environmental Protection announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	December 2, 2008, 1:00pm - 5:00pm

PLACE:	Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bob Martinez Center, 2600 Blair Stone Road, Room 609,Tallahassee, Florida

Subject:	The 2008 Energy Bill (HB 7135) includes language that establishes a new statewide recycling goal of 75% to be achieved by the year 2020. The Department is directed to develop a plan by 2010 designed to achieve this goal and submit it to the Legislature for approval by January 1, 2010. The purpose of this meeting is to identify interested parties and seek input on steps to be taken to develop this plan.
