PURPOSE:

To amend the existing rule that establishes beach erosion control funding request procedures, project ranking, cost sharing procedures, and project agreement requirements.

SUBJECT:

The BBCS proposes amendments to the rule in order to implement new inlet management priorities and procedures set forth in Section 161.143, F.S., and make other minor changes to improve program implementation. This rule will also allow for inclusion of recommendations from the Beach Management Working Group.
