6A-1.012

Purchasing Policies

PURPOSE:

To update the rule identified to reflect current purchasing practices and procedures to allow District School Boards to purchase goods and services more efficiently and effectively.

SUMMARY:

The amendment of Rule 6A-1.012, F.A.C., is a substantial rewording of the existing rule to reflect current purchasing practices, to delineate the types of competitive solicitation available to District School Boards, when competitive solicitations are to be used, when competitive solicitations are not required, and how to procure goods and services without competitive procurement.
