RULE:

62B-26.001

Description of the Walton County Coastal Construction Control Line

PURPOSE:

To amend Rule 62B-26.001, F.A.C., reestablishing the Walton County Coastal Construction Control Line to more accurately define that portion of the beach dune system which is subject to severe fluctuations based upon the 100-year storm surge and storm waves, and thus define the area within which special siting and design considerations are required to ensure protection of the beach dune system, proposed or existing structures, adjacent properties, and the preservation of public beach access.

SUBJECT:

The legal description of the location of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL), in Walton County. Aerial maps depicting the proposed and current Coastal Construction Control Line, will be on display during regular office hours until the time of the workshop at the South Walton County Annex, Division of Planning and Development, 31 Coastal Centre Blvd., Santa Rosa Beach.
