PURPOSE:

Workshops are being held to solicit input on conceptual changes to the rule. The purpose and effect of the proposed rule development is to update the District’s Regulation of Wells rule to address changes in industry standards; and, address changes in and maintain consistency with the Florida Statutes and related statewide Department of Environmental Protection Rules. The proposed rule development will also clarify and update language within the District’s rule including construction standards.

SUBJECT:

Consistency with DEP statewide rules and industry standards, and clarification of construction requirements and procedures.
