Overview



	The Library Joint Planning announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	July 16, 2009, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Turlington Building, 325 West Gaines Street, Room 1706, Tallahassee, Florida 32399

Subject:	A meeting between the Department of Education, the Florida Center for Library Automation, the College Center for Library Automation and the Florida Electronic Library of the Department of State to jointly prepare and provide to the chairs of the House of Representatives Full Appropriations Council on Education and Economic Development, the Senate Policy and Steering Committee on Ways and Means, and the Executive Office of the Governor, options and recommendations for consolidating library services and systems to maximize efficiencies, reduce costs and increase collaboration.
