Overview



	The Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	October 29, 2009, Open House, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.; Formal Presentation, 6:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Embassy Suites, 661 Northwest 53rd Street, Boca Raton, Florida 33487 (In the event that severe weather or other unforeseen conditions cause the hearing to be postponed, it will be held on the alternate date of December 3, 2009 at the same time and location.)

Subject:	This Hearing is being held to allow interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design; and social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed widening of Florida’s Turnpike from the Sawgrass Expressway to Atlantic Avenue, Project Development and Environment Study, in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, Florida, a distance of approximately 10 miles (Financial Project Identification Number 415927-1).
