PURPOSE:

Amends current rule to streamline campaign processes and align provisions with statutory language.

SUMMARY:

Substantive revisions made to align the definitions of all terms with the statute, clarify terms, remove criteria redundant with or inconsistent with statute, delineate each party’s authority and role, and provide guidance that will facilitate uniform practices. Also revised application forms to simplify the application processes and clarify instructions. The Division of Human Resource Management has consulted with the Small Business Regulatory Council and has determined that this amendment has no impact on small businesses as defined by Section 288.703, F.S., nor on small counties or small cities as defined by Section 120.52, F.S., since the affected entities are non-profit organizations.
