Prelicensure Education Requirements

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule amendment is designed to increase the qualifications of licensees by increasing the number of in-person classroom hours a person must complete prior to taking the licensure examination.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rules change the number of in-person classroom hours a person must complete prior to taking the licensure examination from 18 to 24 hours.
