PURPOSE:

The purpose is to repeal Rules 15C-5.001 through 15C-5.012, F.A.C., Motor Vehicle Inspection, because they are obsolete. Section 325.26, F.S., rulemaking authority for this rule has been repealed; therefore the Department no longer has the authority to perform motor vehicle inspections. The effect will be to repeal Rule Chapter 15C-5, F.A.C.

SUMMARY:

Rules 15C-5.001 through 15C-5.012, F.A.C., Motor Vehicle Inspection, are being repealed because they are obsolete and the Department no longer has the authority to perform motor vehicle inspections.
