	The Florida Public Service Commission announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, January 21, 2010, 9:30 a.m.

PLACE:	Betty Easley Conference Center, Room 148, 4075 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida

Subject:	Docket No.: 090313-PU – Complaint of Mad Hatter Utility, Inc., and Paradise Lakes Utility, LLC against Verizon Florida, Inc. PREHEARING CONFERENCE: The purpose of this prehearing conference is to consider (1) the simplification of the issues; (2) the identification of the positions of the parties on the issues; (3) the possibility of obtaining admissions of fact and of documents which will avoid unnecessary proof; (4) the identification of the exhibits; (5) the establishment of an order of witnesses; and (6) such other matters as may aid in the disposition of the action. HEARING: DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, February 3, 2010, 9:30 a.m. PLACE: Betty Easley Conference Center, Room 148, 4075 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of this hearing is to permit parties to present testimony and exhibits relative to the proceeding, and for such other purposes as the Commission may deem appropriate. All witnesses shall be subject to cross-examination at the conclusion of their testimony on the issues identified by the parties at the prehearing conference held on Thursday, January 21, 2010. EMERGENCY CANCELLATION OF HEARING: If settlement of the case or a named storm or other disaster requires cancellation of the proceedings, Commission staff will attempt to give timely direct notice to the parties.
