62-560.400

Scope of Drinking Water Public Notification Rules

PURPOSE:

The Department is adopting the federal Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule (Stage 2 D/DBPR), including revisions to Appendix B to Subpart Q of 40 CFR 141, “Standard Health Effects Language for Public Notification,” and including revisions to best available technology for disinfection byproducts. Rule 62-560.400, F.A.C., is being amended to adopt and incorporate the latest version of Appendix B to Subpart Q of 40 CFR 141, “Standard Health Effects Language for Public Notification.” Table 2 in Chapter 62-560, F.A.C., is being amended to incorporate the Stage 2 D/DBPR revisions to best available technology for disinfection byproducts.
