Overview



	The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Forestry (DOF) and the Watson Island State Forest (WISF) Management Plan Advisory Group (MPAG) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, February 24, 2010, 6:00 p.m. PLACE: St. Johns County Agricultural Center/Extension Office, Windstorm Building, 3125 Agricultural Center Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32092-0572 GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Public Meeting. To allow the WISF MPAG to prepare for a public hearing later in the evening which will provide recommendations to the DOF to help in preparation of a management plan for the WISF. DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, February 24, 2010, 6:30 p.m. PLACE: St. Johns County Agricultural Center/Extension Office, Windstorm Building, 3125 Agricultural Center Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32092-0572 GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Public Hearing. To solicit comments on management of the WISF. Comments may be presented orally or in writing at the hearing. Written comments may also be submitted to: DOF’s WISF C/O Matanzas State Forest Office, 6840 US 1 South, St. Augustine, FL 32086, Attention: Matthew Kennard, and should be mailed so as to arrive at the office by the date of the public hearing. DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, February 24, 2010, 7:30 p.m.

Subject:	Public Meeting. To allow the WISF MPAG to review comments from the public hearing earlier in the evening and provide recommendations to the DOF to help in preparation of a management plan for the WISF.
