Course Requirements - Grades K-12 Basic and Adult Secondary Programs

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the rule amendment is to adopt revised Social Studies Course Descriptions for the 2010-2011 school-year. The effect will be course descriptions aligned with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards approved by the State Board of Education.

SUMMARY:

The rule is amended to adopt revised Florida Course Descriptions for Social Studies to align with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.
