Overview



	The Financial Services Commission, Office of Insurance Regulation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, April 8, 2010, 1:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Room 116, Larson Building, 200 East Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399

Subject:	Cotton States Mutual Insurance Company requested an overall rate level decrease of 24.8% with regard to its homeowners new and renewal line of business, File Log 10-02824, effective May 25, 2010 for new and renewal business. The requested rate increases are not uniform and some areas are subject to higher rate increases. Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary. Input from the insurers as well as interested parties will be received at this public hearing. If you are unable to attend this public hearing, please forward your comments to the Office of Insurance Regulation at ratehearings@floir.com. The subject line of your e-mail should read “Cotton States.”
