Overview



	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Division of Law Enforcement announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	May 4, 2010, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

PLACE:	North I-10 and US 27, 2725 Graves Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303

Subject:	The focus of this workshop is to discuss current requirements for the operation of fox and/or coyote enclosures in Florida. The workshop will explore the development of additional requirements pertaining to the use of dogs for pursuing fox and/or coyote within a fenced area of land. The issues include, but are not limited to: Defining “enclosure” and addressing size/land area requirement for such enclosures, humane treatment standards, fair chase standards, and mitigation factors to address potential for disease transmission.
