Tied House Evil Prohibition Against Vendor

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule amendment is to reformat and clarify the rules addressing certain exceptions to the statutory ban on assistance to vendors of alcoholic beverages from any manufacturer, distributor, importer, primary American source of supply, brand owner or brand registrant, or any broker, sales agent, or sales person thereof.

SUMMARY:

The subject area to be addressed in this rule is the implementation of the statutory ban, found in Section 561.42, Florida Statutes, on assistance to vendors from manufacturers and distributors of alcoholic beverages.
