Overview



	The South Florida Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	WebBoard available at http://www.sfwmd.gov/sfer/ – The WebBoard will be available for public viewing from August 31, 2010, through October 22, 2010. The WebBoard also will be available for public comment on the Draft 2011 South Florida Environmental Report – Volume I from August 31, 2010, through September 17, 2010.

PLACE:	http://www.sfwmd.gov/sfer/ The South Florida Water Management District announces a meeting to conduct public review of the Draft 2011 South Florida Environmental Report (SFER) – Volume I to which all persons are invited to view and in which all members of the public are encouraged to participate. The review will be conducted on a dedicated WebBoard, which will accessible from the District’s website. DATES AND TIMES: Monday through Friday, August 31, 2010, through October 22, 2010, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PLACE: http://www.sfwmd.gov/sfer/ For persons without access to the Internet, access to the website is available at the offices of the South Florida Water Management District, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Florida.

Subject:	The website http://www.sfwmd.gov/sfer/ will be used to allow public access to and participation in WebBoard communications among members of the independent peer review panel created to conduct a review of the 2011 South Florida Environmental Report – Volume I, pursuant to Section 373.4592(4)(d), Florida Statutes. Beginning on August 31, 2010, through October 22, 2010, interested parties may access and view communications among the peer-review panelists, electronically stored communications and other public records associated with the Draft 2011 SFER – Volume I that are posted to the website. Peer-review panelists will post all information on the WebBoard, and the public can access this information at the District from Monday through Friday during normal working hours, Eastern Daylight Time. The public may comment directly on the WebBoard at any time between August 31, 2010, through September 17, 2010, on any aspect of the Draft 2011 SFER – Volume I, particularly on relevant scientific or technical data and findings. Communications and documents from all parties can be accessed at any time after they are posted during the review period.
