Student Performance Standards

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule amendment is to adopt the Next Generation Common Core State Standards for Reading and Language Arts and Mathematics in accordance with Section 1003.41, Florida Statutes. The effect is to ensure that Florida’s curriculum standards remain current and relevant.

SUMMARY:

This rule is amended to adopt the Next Generation Common Core State Standards in Reading and Language Arts and Mathematics.
