Overview



	The Local Coordinating Board for the Transportation Disadvantaged of Martin County announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, August 23, 2010, 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Martin County Administration Building, 1st Floor, Growth Management Conference Room, 2401 S. E. Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34996

Subject:	Following the regular Board Meeting, a Public Hearing will be held for all interested citizens to provide input on transportation needs and services to the disabled, elderly, children at risk, low income and other citizens in Martin County. The Local Coordinating Board for the Transportation Disadvantaged is comprised of seventeen (17) members with representation from the elderly, disabled, citizen advocates, public education community, Florida Department of Transportation and other various State and local agencies. The Local Coordinating Board members are the voice of the transportation disadvantaged in Martin County. The Board exists to identify local transportation service needs, and to give information, advice, and direction to the Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC), Medical Transportation Management, Inc., who coordinates transportation disadvantaged services in Martin County, and to the State Transportation Disadvantaged Commission in Tallahassee.
