Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	August 31, 2010, Open House, 5:30 p.m.; Formal Presentation, 6:30 p.m.; followed by a public comment period

PLACE:	Celebration Ballrooms, 12531 West Okeechobee Road (Second Floor), Hialeah Gardens, Florida 33018 (In the event that the Public Hearing cannot be held on August 31, 2010 due to severe weather or other unforeseen conditions, it will be held on the alternate date of September 14, 2010 at the same time and place)

Subject:	This Hearing is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed widening of the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike (Turnpike Extension) from SR 836 (Dolphin Expressway) to east of N. W. 57th Avenue (Red Road), Project Development and Environment Study, in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Florida, a distance of approximately eighteen (18) miles (Financial Project Identification Number 423371-1-22-01).
