PURPOSE:

The proposed rule development (OGC No. 09-3737) involves amendments to Chapter 62-210, F.A.C., to transfer general permits for six source categories from the department’s Title V air general permit program into the department's non-Title V air general permit program. The proposed amendments will also revise several definitions, expand permitting exemption criteria, clarify when air construction and operation permits are required, clarify general permit rule language, and streamline general permit registration forms.

SUBJECT:

The proposed rule amendments involve the department’s EPA approved non-Title V air permitting program.
