Overview



	The Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council, Lee County MPO announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Friday, August 20, 2010, Immediately following the 9:00 a.m. MPO Board meeting

PLACE:	Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council, 1926 Victoria Avenue, Fort Myers, FL

Subject:	The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA), will conduct a public meeting to gather input and comment on the transportation planning process of the Lee County MPO as a part of the Federal Certification Review process. The MPO is responsible for establishing priorities to meet short-term (next 5 years) and long-term (20+ years) multi-modal transportation needs. The public meeting is an important part of a federal review process that is required every four years for Transportation Management Areas (TMA). The Federal review team would like to hear from you directly at the public meeting, or via mail, email or fax.
