6A-1.0404

Zero Tolerance for School Related Violent Crime (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

Section 1006.13, Florida Statutes, requires district school boards to adopt policies that address zero-tolerance for violet crime and victimization. The statute further outlines the specific criteria to be addressed by each school district relating to the development of these policies. As the State Board is not provided rulemaking authority but rather the responsibility is placed on each school district, the rule is recommended for repeal.

The rule is to be repealed.
