61B-23.002

Operation of the Condominium Association

PURPOSE:

Chapter 2010-174, L.O.F., amended the provisions of Chapter 718, Florida Statutes, relating to fire safety retrofitting of condominium property by deleting references to “other engineered life safety systems” and changing the voting requirements for an association to opt-out of the retrofitting requirements. This rule amendment conforms the rule to the current statutory requirements.

SUBJECT:

This rule amendment addresses 2010 Legislative changes relating to fire safety retrofitting of condominium property.
