Participant Eligibility Requirements (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

The rule amendment set forth in this Notice of Proposed Rule enables low-income youth to participate in TANF-funded subsidized employment opportunities. Subsidized employment provides valuable skills and work experience for young people, and serves as a stepping stone to unsubsidized employment.

SUMMARY:

The rule amendment expands participant eligibility to include minor children in the family of an individual who has been determined eligible to participate in the subsidized employment program.
