RULE:

PURPOSE:

To encourage responsible prescribing by implementing provisions to help establish a limited access comprehensive electronic database system for controlled substances.

SUMMARY:

These rules provide a framework for the administering of the program and include advisory alerts and reports, access and operation of the database, breaches in security, and program evaluation.
