Overview



	The Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	October 7, 2010, 5:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Edgewater Community Center, 102 North Riverside Drive, Edgewater, FL

Subject:	Ridge Avenue/U.S. 1/S.R. 5 From North of Falcon Avenue To North of Lamont Street FDOT Financial ID No.: 426889-1-52-01 Safety Improvement Project The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information meeting regarding proposed safety improvements along Ridgewood Avenue/US 1/S.R. 5. The project limits are from North of Falcon Avenue to North of Lamont Street in the City of Edgewater. The public information meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. with an informal open house. Brief presentations are at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The meeting adjourns at 7:00 p.m. The project will involve rebuilding curbed and grassed medians to improve turn lane safety along Ridgewood Avenue, as well as installation of new pavement markings and traffic signs. Some repaving will occur within the median. The project is funded for construction during the 2013 fiscal year. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex disability or family status.
