RULE:

61G5-22.006

Facials (Including Skin Care and Hair Removal)

PURPOSE:

The purpose for amendment to this rule is to separate the requirements for hair removal training and from that to facial training to make the requirements more easily distinguishable for prospective licensees and licensees.

SUMMARY:

The proposed changes are intended to remove the portion related to the stand-alone facial specialty program compared to the facial and skin care requirements included within the cosmetology curriculum.
