Overview



	The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Office of Coastal and Aquatic Managed Areas announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, January 26, 2011, 9:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. PLACE: Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port Hotel, 1825 Griffin Road, Dania, FL 33004 DATE AND TIME: Thursday, January 27, 2011, 9:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

PLACE:	Okeeheelee Nature Center, 7715 Forest Hill Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33413

Subject:	The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Coral Reef Conservation Program and the Center for Watershed Protection are hosting two, one-day meetings across the four-county southeast Florida region, to bring knowledgeable agencies and organizations together to discuss key programs that reduce Land-Based Sources of Pollution (LBSP) in southeast Florida and recommendations for future action. These meetings are part of a Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative local action strategy to conserve and improve management of the northern third of the Florida Reef Tract.
