Training Requirements for Physicians Practicing in Pain Management Clinics

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule amendment is intended to require a quality assurance review of the pain management clinic once every three years as opposed to the current requirement setting forth an annual review.

SUMMARY:

The current rule requires a quality assurance review of the pain management clinic every year. The proposed rule amendment will require the quality assurance review once every three years.
