Overview



	The Department of State, Office of Cultural, Historical and Information Programs announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, April 4, 2011, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon EST

PLACE:	Mission San Luis Visitor Center (Mission Room), 2100 West Tennessee Street, Tallahassee, Florida

Subject:	Planning for Florida’s 500-year anniversary, or Quincentennial, of its discovery by European explorer Juan Ponce de León. This is a Viva Florida! Quincentennial Initiative strategy setting workshop for all established partners, state agency representatives and other interested organizations and individuals. State agencies and other partners are invited to discuss their efforts to date, while strategizing the future effort and mobilizing the Viva Florida! initiative in local communities around the state.
