	The Office of Insurance Regulation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Pursuant to Section 120.525, Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Southern Fidelity Insurance Company Rate Hearing is scheduled for August 20, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.

PLACE:	Pat Thomas Committee Room, 412 The Knott Building, Tallahassee, FL 32399

Subject:	: Southern Fidelity Insurance Company has requested a statewide average rate change for its Homeowners Multi-Peril business. The below identifies the proposed rate change that has been filed with the Office and implemented by the Company on a use and file basis: 21-014740: +36% Homeowners Multi-Peril The effective date for the Homeowners Multi-Peril business is July 1, 2021, for new and renewal business. An agenda listing the rate filings subject to this hearing will be posted on the Office’s website at http://www.floir.com. Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary. Input from consumers and interested parties, as well as from representatives of Southern Fidelity Insurance Company, will be received at this public hearing. If you choose to access the hearing via telephone, or if you are unable to participate in this public hearing, please forward your comments to the Office of Insurance Regulation at ratehearings@floir.com; the subject line of your e-mail should read “Southern Fidelity Insurance Company.” The record will be open for public comment until September 3, 2021.
