Description: Chapter 499, F.S., requires that entities that manufacture prescription and over-the-counter drugs, and cosmetics to register those products with the division prior to manufacturing and selling the products in the state. The entities are required to file an application with the division to register the products. The applications have been amended to increase the efficiency of the registration process and the applications need to be incorporated by rule.
