6A-1.012

Purchasing Policies

PURPOSE:

To update the rule identified to reflect current purchasing practices and procedures to allow District School Boards to purchase goods and services more efficiently and effectively.

SUBJECT:

The purchasing practices of District School Boards are being revised to assist districts in determining what goods and services must be competitively bid, the types of competitive procurements allowed, when goods and services are not subject to competitive solicitation, and the procedudres to follow for bids that are not required to be competitively procured.
