Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Policies in District Postsecondary Technical Colleges or Career Centers, Charter Technical Career Centers, and Adult Secondary Education

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule is to require school districts operating district postsecondary technical colleges or career centers, charter technical career centers, and adult secondary education to adopt policies that provide for the use and limitations of use of artificial intelligence (A.I.) tools in order to ensure the quality and integrity of workforce education, the authentic demonstration of occupational competencies, the efficiency of operations, and a safe learning and working environment for students and the technical college community.
