62-705.100

Applicability

PURPOSE:

The Department creates this rule chapter to implement section 403.0741, F.S., relating to the removal and disposal of grease waste from originator food establishment grease interceptors and grease traps. Entities for which this rule is relevant include grease waste haulers, originator food establishments, disposal facilities authorized to receive grease waste, and local governments.

SUBJECT:

The subject matter to be addressed in this rulemaking includes removal of grease waste from originator food establishment grease interceptors and grease traps by haulers, disposal of grease waste at disposal facilities authorized to receive grease waste, and documentation of grease waste removal and disposal using a service manifest.
