PURPOSE:

The District is proposing to create a new rule for multiple wells under a single permit, include hyperlinks to delegation agreements with local governments, update materials incorporated by reference, adopt amendments to DEP's rules, and update rule references.

SUBJECT:

Water well construction and water well contractor rules will be amended regarding delegation agreements with local governments, rules and publications incorporated by reference, and a new rule for multiple wells under a single permit will be added.  A copy of the preliminary draft rule text is available at www.sfwmd.gov/rules.
