61B-22.007

Common Expense; Insurance

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the rule is to clarify that insurance and the costs of repairing condominium property for which the association has insurance coverage is a common expense. This includes the cost of any insurance deductible that is part of the cost of the repair.

SUBJECT:

The proposed rule addresses condominium insurance and associated costs of repairing condominium property.
