Implementation of Class Size Accountability and Funding Calculations for Public Schools Including Charter Schools

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule development is to implement the Departments duties regarding determining compliance with class size requirements, calculating funding reductions and reallocations, and withholding class size reduction funding.

SUBJECT:

The subject area of this rule is class size compliance, funding calculations, and withholding class size reduction funds for public schools including charter schools.
