5B-40.0055

Regulated Plant Index

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule is to maintain a list of endangered, threatened, or commercially exploited plants.  The department’s mission is to ensure that these plants are protected and conservation of Florida’s natural areas is observed.

SUBJECT:

To add plants to the regulated plant index as suggested by the Endangered Plant Advisory Council.
