62S-6.009

Application of Definitions

PURPOSE:

The Department's Division of Law Enforcement (Division) has conducted its rule review for Chapter 62S-6, F.A.C., pursuant to s. 120.5435, F.S., and as a result is initiating rulemaking to revise the definitions for specific terms used in Chapter 62S-6, F.A.C. Specifically, Chapter 62S-6.009, F.A.C., will require a substantive changes to clarify existing rule language, as well as provide reference to terms already defined s. 376.031, F.S. - Definitions.

SUBJECT:

Rule 62S-6.009, F.A.C., “Application of Definitions,” provides definitions used for all rules within Chapter 62S-6, F.A.C. Specifically, the Division is seeking to insert reference to s. 376.031, F.S., to provide for a comprehensive list of defined terms, as well as provide clarification to the term "pollutant" as it appears in Chapter 62S-6, F.A.C.
