RULE:

68B-38.002	Southwest Florida Seasonal Shrimp Closures (Repealed)
68B-38.003	Taylor County Shrimp Closure (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rulemaking is to consolidate and streamline regulations related to shrimp into Chapter 68B-31, F.A.C., so they are easier for the public to find and understand.  The Commission will consider rule amendments that would move seasonal and spatial restrictions on the use of shrimp trawls and consolidate these regulations into Florida’s shrimp regulations in Chapter 68B-31, F.A.C.

SUBJECT:

The subject area addressed in the rule development notice is seasonal and spatial gear restrictions.
