Initial Screening Instrument

PURPOSE:

To update the Human Trafficking Screening Tool.

SUBJECT:

Updates the Human Trafficking Screening Tool, CF-FSP 5406 to: (1) emphasizes the conversational approach to the interview, (2) emphasizes the tool is a guide to open dialogue; (3) changes all questions to third person to remind screeners to utilize interviewing skills, (4) adds new questions, (5) demographic section of the tool was updated to better assess risk, and (6) updates questions.
