RULE:

63F-15.001

Compliance with Safety in Private Spaces Act

PURPOSE:

Establishing procedures to ensure compliance with the Safety in Private Spaces Act (ch. 2023-106, Laws of Florida).

SUBJECT:

The rule ensures that staff and youth at secure detention centers and residential commitment facilities are utilizing restroom and changing facilities appropriate for their sex. The rule incorporates an attestation to evidence compliance.
