61E1-1.002

Continuing Education Requirements for Asbestos Consultants/Contractors

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule amendment will be to create consistency between the continuing education monitoring requirements of the Asbestos Licensing Unit rules and the requirements of Section 455.2177(1), Florida Statutes.

SUBJECT:

The subject area to be addressed in this rule is the regulatory scope of the Asbestos Licensing Unit over the monitoring of the continuing education requirements for Asbestos Consultants and Asbestos Contractors.
