61G6-7.001

Specialty Electrical Contractors

PURPOSE:

The Board proposes the rule amendment to clarify language concerning the scope of work for the limited energy systems specialty; to clarify that certified and registered licensees in Unlimited Electrical Contractor, Alarm System Contractor I, Alarm System Contractor II, and Residential Electrical Contractor may perform the scope of work of a limited energy systems specialty certification.

SUMMARY:

Language concerning the scope of work for the limited energy systems specialty will be provided; and to clarify that certified and registered licensees in Unlimited Electrical Contractor, Alarm System Contractor I, Alarm System Contractor II, and Residential Electrical Contractor may perform the scope of work of a limited energy systems specialty certification.
