Course Requirements - Grades K-12 Basic and Adult Secondary Programs

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this proposed amendment is to revise course requirements for each course contained in the “2013-2014 Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” and “2014-2015 Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” for grades K-12/ Adult, Basic Education. The effect will be the proposed adoption of the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 course descriptions which will include English language arts, mathematics, literacy, mathematical practices, and health education standards as appropriate for each grade level and area content area.

SUMMARY:

Florida public school course descriptions for the basic education programs for grades K-12/ Adult, Basic Education have been revised to include English language arts, mathematics, literacy, mathematical practices, and health education standards as appropriate for each grade level and content area.
