PURPOSE:

To clarify definitions, requirements, exemptions, and limitations for admission of animals for exhibition. The revisions will simplify and strengthen the state’s animal health protection strategy.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule will clarify definitions to match statutory language and will update and clarify the requirements, exemptions, and limitations for admission of animals for exhibitions purposes.
