PURPOSE:

The proposed rulemaking will repeal Rules 19A-7.001 through 19A-7.007, which are outdated and no longer necessary. There will be no adverse effect on the public.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rulemaking will repeal the Division of Bond Finance’s rules for the administration of its arbitrage rebate compliance program, which are more appropriately addressed in the State Debt Management Policy, which is adopted by the Governor and Cabinet, as the Governing Board of the Division of Bond Finance, ad sets forth parameters and provides guidance for the Division of Bond Finance’s management, control, and oversight of the State’s debt function.
